Born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in Alpharetta, Georgia, Chris Burgett attended Chattahoochee High School. He was a two-sport varsity athlete playing basketball and football. As a captain of the team, he earned All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State 1st team honorable mention. He led his football team to a semi-final appearance his senior season and gained more than 2,300 rushing yards and 3,100 all-purpose yards and scored over 21 touchdowns breaking all previous records.
Fueled by drive and a dedicated commitment to the game, after high school Chris continued to pursue his dream of playing professional football and attended Hargrave Military Academy. Located in Chatham, Virginia, HMA was a hard-nosed prep school for troubled youth and post graduate future collegiate athletes. While there, Chris was later accepted on to the University of Georgia football team.
Chris led the UGA team in special teams tackles his freshman season and derailed by injuries, but he managed to start 37 games on special teams. He played under College Hall of Fame Head Coach Mark Richt and was led by his, at the time, running back position coach Kirby Smart. Smart is now the the current Head Coach of the Georgia Bulldogs.

As a Family and Consumer Science graduate from the University of Georgia, Chris Burgett has a heart for helping uplift people dealing with socioeconomic barriers and overcoming mental health issues. With a focus on creative design ranging from photography, videography, editing, production, and branding consulting, he is extremely dedicated to educating and teaching the importance of print and digital professionalism.
After Graduation, Chris explored different graphic designed positions within the commercial real estate industry with Cushman & Wakefield, one of the largest in the world. He went on to work for the Art Institute of Atlanta, learning corporate sales and strategy led by Goldman Sachs. And later circling back around to mental health advocacy working with Norton Healthcare as a Mental Health Technician.
Chris prides himself on his student-athletic background, the lessons that sports have taught him translating to business, and the importance of a never give up keep fighting mentality that transfers over to his business and personal endeavors.
As creative art, has always been a passion of Chris’, he founded a digital media agency called Dawgs on Demand alongside former Georgia Bulldog collegiate and NFL professional legend Champ Bailey.

With an aptitude for digital design and business aesthetics, he leads the TMHAA organization in all our physical and digital footprint. Chris will lead our efforts in everything visual from print, web design, photography, and video content creation working in our digital media department entitled CAVA Media Group. He is our “go to guy for tech focused elements,” mass communication, and in-user connectivity.
From an educational stance, Chris Burgett has developed a program dedicated to student-athletic personal and business development and mentorship. He is the developer of our pilot program The Leap Initiative.
“As mental health is the centerpiece to everyone’s livelihood and success, I strive to show the importance of having a healthy balance of physical, mental, and spiritual wealth,” Burgett explains.
Centered around philanthropy, he also proudly serving as the Director of Communications for a nonprofit organization focused on mental health, opioid prevention, and child abuse in southern Indiana called Clark & Floyd System of Care.
